A sharp-shooting scout who loves coin, hitting harder the richer the run gets. Wren rewards fast movement and greedy play: grab gold, open chests early and let your damage climb with your wealth.
Build tip: pair Arrow with Shuriken and projectile potions, then add the Golden Skull to feed your coin bonus.
Ember
Channels fire from the old rites, burning what stands between her and the exit. Ember excels at clearing dense crowds from a distance.
Build tip: Fireball plus Lightning covers both groups and single targets; area potions make every explosion count.
Ashen
Wades into the fight instead of avoiding it, and shrugs off what it throws back. Ashen gains armor as he levels and is the most forgiving hero for new players.
Build tip: Blade Sweep and Shadow Dagger keep enemies away; add the Cookie and Heart items for a tank that never falls.
Which hero should you pick?
New to horde survivors? Start with Ashen — his armor gives you room to learn the waves. Prefer to stay at range and clear the screen? Pick Ember. Like fast, high-risk runs? Wren is for you.
