Bark armors the beasts that gnaw at the crown’s roots.
Briar Maw belongs to The Rootbound. Bark, spores and roots — the forest that turned on its keepers. They fill the first floors. As a melee: The bulk of every horde: slow, plentiful and dangerous only when they surround you.

How to handle it: Keep moving so the pack never closes the circle, and let area skills thin it out.

- Elite versions carry more health and hit harder; items that raise damage to elites pay off deeper down.
