Failed armor fused around the soldier within.
Slag Brute belongs to The Ash Legion. An army that marched into the furnaces and kept marching. They guard the deepest floors. As a tank: Slow and heavily armored. Tanks soak hits and block your escape routes.

Cleaving cone
Winds up and cleaves a wide cone in front of it — one of the heaviest single hits in the game.
How to handle it: Watch the cone appear on the ground and step out to the side or behind the attacker before it lands.

Strategy
How to fight Slag Brute
- Slow and heavily armored. Tanks soak hits and block your escape routes.
- Keep moving: a tank only wins when the pack closes the circle around you.
- Elite versions carry more health and hit harder; items that raise damage to elites pay off deeper down.
Skills that handle tanks well: Fireball, Arrow, Soul Reaper.
