Ash Needle belongs to The Crownless. What is left of the shattered crown’s host. They arrive only with the Endless Swarm. As a specialist: Brings a telegraphed attack of its own — read the shape on the ground.

Spore cloud
Releases a lingering spore cloud around itself that hurts anyone standing inside it.
How to handle it: Kill it from range or pull the pack away from the cloud; never fight inside the haze.
Floors
Where Ash Needle appears
Ash Needle never joins a floor’s regular horde. It arrives with the Endless Swarm that starts when the floor timer runs out, and its share of the swarm grows by the minute.
- Swarm minute 3: about 10% of the swarm
- Swarm minute 4 and beyond: about 10% of the swarm

- Brings a telegraphed attack of its own — read the shape on the ground.
- Keep moving: a specialist only wins when the pack closes the circle around you.
- Elite versions carry more health and hit harder; items that raise damage to elites pay off deeper down.
