What Haste does
Increases cast speed of every skill except summons.
Haste is a level-up pick that raises Cast Speed for the rest of the run. Every further pick adds another level, up to 60; rarer offers grant more per level.

Haste multiplies a track these skills upgrade, so the two compound:
Arrow
Auto-fires at the current target, piercing up to 3 foes.
Fireball
Explodes on impact, damaging all nearby enemies.
Lightning
Instantly strikes target enemies with a concentrated beam.
Shadow Dagger
Blades orbit you, striking anything they pass through.
Blade Sweep
A wide sword strike in front of you that can knock foes back.
Shuriken
Spinning stars that ricochet between enemies.
Frost Nova
An icy ring damages foes and can freeze them solid.
Cyclone
A traveling vortex that briefly pulls foes and repeatedly damages them.
Storm Surge
Shocks every foe around you. Moving builds charge for harder hits.
Phoenix
Flies over the horde to a distant foe, then bursts into flame.
Sky Lance
Calls down a sunbeam that tracks foes and scorches the ground in its wake.
Thornlash
A line of thorns erupts toward the thickest foes, rooting them briefly.
Soul Reaper
A piercing crescent returns to you, hitting foes once each way.
Venom Flask
Lobs venom that leaves a lingering pool. Ground enemies inside take repeated hits.
Timing
When to take Haste
Take it once two or three damage skills are in place: Haste multiplies what you already have, so it is worth more with every skill you add. Out of slots? The Thorn Archive on each floor’s plaza removes a potion, and the Diamond Trader sells extra potion slots.
